Currently, we have 6 undergraduate majors, including Environmental Engineering (including excellent plan classes), Civil Engineering, Engineering Management, Environmental Science, Road Bridge and River Crossing Engineering, and Architecture. Among them, Environmental Engineering and Civil Engineering were originally first-batch admission majors. We have 1 provincial key laboratory, 6 provincial engineering technology centers, 3 provincial experimental teaching demonstration centers, 1 provincial collaborative innovation center, and 8 municipal key laboratories.

We have achieved remarkable results in developing majors. The Environmental Engineering major is a national first-class undergraduate major, and a key subject and characteristic major in Guangdong Province, which was accredited as the first batch of master's degree awarding sites of DGUT in 2018. The Civil Engineering major is a provincial first-class undergraduate major and a key major in Guangdong Province. Currently our Civil Engineering major is an advanced subject master's degree authorization program, and our Civil Water Conservancy is a bachelor's degree authorization program. Our Engineering Management major is a first-class undergraduate major in Guangdong Province and a characteristic major of Guangdong Province. Environmental Science and Road Bridge and River Crossing Engineering are new majors established in recent years, led by high-level talents such as nationally outstanding talents -- they have a high starting point and good development momentum.

We have strong faculty consisting of 140 faculty members, 39 professors, and 51 associate professors, including 2 nationally outstanding talents. The proportion of teachers with doctoral degrees is 90%, and the proportion of teachers with senior professional titles is 57%. In recent years, we won the second prize of the Environmental Protection Science and Technology Award, the first prize of the China Industry-University-Research Cooperation Innovation Achievement Award, the second prize of the National Technology Invention Award, the first prize of the Ministry of Education Technology Invention Award, and the second prize of Guangdong Science and Technology Progress Award.
