The College of Economics and Management, previously the Department of Business Administration established in 1991, is the earliest department of DGUT specializing in business administration education and research. The School is a member of the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) and a member of the British Association of MBAs (BGA).
We have established 1 experimental center and 3 departments including the Department of Business Administration, Department of Applied Economics, and Department of Management Engineering. We have 98 faculty members, including 4 postdoctoral fellows, 4 high-level talents, 17 professors, 22 associate professors, 46 doctors, 14 master tutors, and 2,821 undergraduate students. We partnered with Kunming University of Science and Technology in 2018 and Guangdong University of Technology in 2019 to jointly train postgraduate students. Currently, we have 17 postgraduate students, 3 doctoral students in finance jointly trained with the University of Nottingham, and 2 Pakistani postdoctoral fellows jointly trained with the University of Science and Technology of China, demonstrating a great improvement in our education capabilities.
We have 3 provincial and ministerial-level bases, 1 provincial teaching team, and 1 provincial innovation team. We have jointly established the Belt and Road Economic Research Center with Stenden University in the Netherlands, University of Rzeszów in Poland, and Silesian University of Technology in the Czech Republic.
