Experts from DGUT's Graduate Department and International Cooperation and Exchange Department, as well as responsible persons and expert representatives from the Office of the National Autonomous University of Mexico in China, met on December 14, 2022 for an academic symposium hosted by DGUT and the National Autonomous University of Mexico.
Utilizing keynote speeches and roundtable discussions, this symposium will provide a high-level academic exchange platform for experts and collaborating doctoral tutors in related fields to discuss the collaborative research direction, current difficult technologies, and development frontiers of joint doctoral training programs.
Professor Noyola, Director of the Office of the National Autonomous University of Mexico in China, and Wang Qian, Deputy Director of DGUT International Cooperation and Exchange Department, gave opening remarks, respectively, at the Symposium. Professor Noyola stated that the cooperation between the two sides will begin with this Symposium, and he hopes that it will serve as a platform for the exchange and communication of experts between the two sides, as well as for the establishment of tutor groups, in order to lay the groundwork for subsequent scientific research cooperation and joint training of doctoral enrollment. Following that, representatives from both sides gave brief presentations on their respective areas of expertise and then engaged in a thorough dialogue about the topic at hand.
